We rode through several interesting seaside neighborhoods and finally ended up in Pelham Bay Park for the third and final rest stop. Pelham Bay Park is very large and very nice. On the left you see the cycling crowd enjoying a rest in the park.

Several groups of Puerto Rican riders rode fancy bicycles with flags, funny horns, and other embellishments. Shown in the photo on the right are the parked bicycles of one such group of riders.

After resting, we headed west down the Pelham Parkway. Unfortunately, my camera memory was almost at an end. Moreover, our time was also running out, since we had promised other people that the ride would be over by 3:00 pm. Therefore, Greg, Willie, and I had to break off from the Tour De Bronx and ride back to the Botanical Gardens where we had parked. The photo on the right shows Greg and Willie in front of the baseball fields just north of the Botanical Gardens.

And yes, that's my bike on the ground.
