These two buildings are on Chittenden, a one block long street viewing the Hudson River from high atop the cliffs over the Henry Hudson Parkway. There are several small apartment buildings on Chittenden, as well as some single family houses.

Tryon Towers is right on Pinehurst. It is one of the prettier Art Deco buildings in the neighborhood. Check out the main entrance door on the right!

Although it is not strictly an Art Deco building, no tour of my neighborhood is complete without mention of Hudson View Gardens, built in '20s Tudor Revival style. The complex is composed of beautiful several buildings with many ammenities, and has an interior street flanked with gardens. When it was built, it offered stunning views of the Hudson River to the west. However, in the 1940's these views were blocked by the construction of the Castle Village complex.
